Westwind Media, a premier sound design and audio post production facility, has announced the addition of Nicole Zabala in the role of Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for the company.
Zabala brings extensive experience to the company, including tenures with both Technicolor and Formosa Group. Her impressive career includes an Emmy nomination for her work in VFX.
She notes, “I’m looking forward to introducing new clients to the Westwind experience — feel comfortable, feel taken care of, and work with some of the most talented artists in the business.”
The Burbank-based facility has recently expanded its team. On the talent side, re-recording mixers Joe Earle, CAS, and Gabriel J. Serrano, CAS have joined the Westwind team, which includes recent addition Christian P. Minkler, CAS. With the expanded roster, Westwind’s award-winning creative talent continues to elevate storytelling for its episodic and feature film clients.
On the executive level, the company is now under the leadership of highly regarded industry veteran Doug Kent, who recently joined the company as both Partner and President.
